Aileen A. Howlett (b. 1994*) was raised in Zürich, Switzerland, and has roots in Great Britain and Eastern Europe. Her photographic practice explores time, perception, and the unseen. Engaging with cinematic, obscure, and memory-driven imagery, she treats photography as a space of inquiry - where light, positioning, and atmosphere become essential narrative tools. Drawn to beauty, ambiguity, and mystery, her work reflects on the fragile threshold between presence and remembrance, capturing fleeting moments as they transition from immediacy into contemplation.
